Roe is a sensitive and incredibly brave boy who has made outstanding progress since arriving at CDCH. Having spent his early months without much exposure to the wider world, he initially found new experiences overwhelming and was unsure of everything around him.

Today, Roe is a completely different dog. Through patience, understanding, and positive encouragement from his carers, he has grown in confidence every single week. He now explores new environments with curiosity, enjoys getting out and about, and takes everyday life much more in his stride. One of our favourite milestones has been watching him discover the joy of zoomies – his playful, excitable lurcher personality really shines through!

Roe will need a confident and understanding owner who can continue the great work we’ve been doing to build his confidence even further. While he has come on enormously, he will thrive with someone who can offer reassurance when needed and continue his positive exposure to the world at a pace that suits him.

He could happily live with other dogs in the home, provided they are comfortable with an excitable lurcher play style. Roe truly comes to life in the company of other dogs and would benefit from appropriate canine companionship.

With the right home, Roe has all the potential to continue blossoming into a confident, happy companion. If you’re ready to offer guidance, encouragement, and plenty of fun, Roe will reward you with loyalty, affection, and plenty of joyful zoomies.
