Meet Ruby – the most adorable ball of fluff who is hoping to find a home with another bunny for companionship!

This fluffy girl is super sweet nature – her foster carers have reported that they have fallen in love with her charming character and that she has been an absolute delight to care for – she is even well behaved for her regular check ups with the vet! Ruby is quite a laid back bun, who seems to take life as it comes and is quite quick to adapt to her new surroundings, often coming out to greet new people – she will likely settle well in to her new home and family, and we think she will be a wonderful placid companion for another rabbit friend.

As Ruby is neutered and vaccinated, she could likely get on with another friendly neutered male or female rabbit – her adopters will need to be confident in carrying out a gradual introduction during the bonding process, and have suitable accommodation for her during this time. Ruby currently enjoys daily opportunities to explore her outdoor run and has lots of space to hop around in, however, she will likely adapt well to living indoors too, should a suitable set-up and environment be provided.

Like most rabbits, Ruby likes the quiet life and will appreciate a calm home environment, however, she is a placid girl, therefore, a family with children will be considered, so long as they are respectful of her space and needs. Due to her long coat, Ruby will need regular grooming in her new home to ensure she remains clean and comfortable, avoiding matts and dirt build up in her fur – adopters will need to carry out gentle brushing once she is settled in.

Adoption information:

  • Accommodation: The recommended accommodation sizes for a pair of bunnies is a single enclosed area of at least 3m x 2m by 1m high (this can include the sleeping quarters) – you can find out lots of handy information about Rabbit housing in the following link: Rabbit Housing – The Rabbit Awareness Action Group
  • Adoption fee: A single rabbit is £70 to adopt – this is inclusive of initial health checks, vaccination, a routine Xeno mite treatment and neutering.
