Meet Rudy, a 19-week-old Labrador X Lurcher with a huge heart.

Despite a challenging start to life, Rudy is now ready to find his forever home with an active and understanding family. He seems to have missed out on crucial puppy training and socialisation experiences he would have needed in his early days, and as a result, on arrival at the centre, he was not the confident and playful puppy we had hoped to see. Rudy initially displayed some nervous behaviors and was a little shy, however, during his time in a loving foster home, he has made incredible improvement.

Rudy is ready to embark on countless adventures with his forever family and is seeking a home that understands the importance of patience and positive reinforcement. He would love to be part of an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. Adopters who are committed to continuing Rudy’s training and socialisation journey will be the perfect match. Initially, someone will need to be home most of the time to cater to his puppy needs and provide the consistent training he requires.

Rudy is due to have his vaccinations, therefore we are looking for a home which is not too far form the centre, so that his adopters can return on 22/11/23 for the second vaccination to be carried out. He will also need to be neutered, which will be arranged when he reaches an appropriate age. Any existing dogs in the home will need proof of vaccination to be considered.

The adoption of Rudy is £600 – this will include his being up to date with his initial flea and worming treatments and health checks. Two vaccinations and future neutering (if you live within a 1.5 hour driving distance, otherwise a voucher will be provided towards the cost). You will also receive a months free PetPlan insurance, a £50 voucher to spend on essential items within our centre shop, as well as a weeks worth of his specific diet.

If you feel that you can provide the stability and love that Rudy needs, then let us know by completing a perfect match form below:
