Scooby is a 3-year-old mastiff with a heart as big as his paws!

This sweet boy has already been through a lot in his young life—he came to us from a difficult background where he, unfortunately, didn’t receive the care and kindness every dog deserves. But Scooby has shown incredible resilience and despite his past, is a happy-go-lucky dog who loves to make new friends.

He is a playful pup, and always up for a cuddle or a good chew toy. He can be a little spooked by sudden unfamiliar noises at times but with patience and reassurance, he quickly bounces back.

Scooby is quite excitable around other dogs and is always eager to say hello. While he means well, his size and enthusiasm can be a bit much for some, so he would benefit from continued gentle socialisation and guidance when making new friends. He responds well to positive reinforcement and is looking for a home that’s willing to continue his basic training as he learns the ropes of home life.

He’s searching for a forever home that understands his background and is ready to give him the time and support he needs to settle in. An ideal family for Scooby will be caring, patient, and committed to helping him feel safe and loved. Experience with large breeds would be a bonus, but not essential.
