Sooty (F) and Sweep (M) are a 12 week old brother and sister duo who are now looking for a home together, where they can continue to enjoy play sessions, night time cuddles and the general companionship of one another.

This cute pair were a little nervous on arrival, but have now settled in to cattery life nicely, and are already enjoying spending time with staff. Sooty and Sweep are always ready to greet you at the door with their little meows, eager to play and have some fuss, often purring away at the same time. They are inquisitive kitties and like to climb on their cat trees to see what is going on around them – Sooty is always the first to lead, with Sweep being a little more tentative in his approach, but never far behind.

Kitten adoption information:

Adoption fee for a fabulous pair of kittens is £275 – this is inclusive of the following:

  • initial health checks
  • being up to date with flea and worming treatments
  • vaccinations (2 initial injections)
  • microchip
  • neutering
  • One months worth of PetPlan insurance
  • A care pack including a weeks worth of dry food, a bag of litter, a toy and feliway spray.

Considerations:

Sooty and Sweep are ready fly the nest as soon as they find their perfect home, so adopters should be prepared to settle them – we allow 10-14 days to fully process and complete an adoption from the point of initial contact after application.

Being young kittens, both kittens will need to remain indoors until old enough to explore outside, therefore, adopters should be confident ensuring access to windows and doors is managed through the warmer months.

Below are some of the many benefits to adopting a pair of siblings together:
  • Play – a pair of kittens can keep each other active and entertained, which can help burn off their high energy levels. This also means less work for you, as they can keep each other busy and out of trouble
  • Social skills – being with a same aged sibling helps them to develop better social skills and learn how to behave when interacting with each other. For example, they can teach each other when biting or nipping is too hard, and how to establish boundaries.
  • Companionship – having a pair of kittens prevents them from feeling lonely during their transition in to a home, which gives you peace of mind when you have to leave them.
