Introducing Sugar the Springer Spaniel.

Sugar is a typical spaniel when it comes to energy levels; she heaps of spirit, enthusiasm and likes to keep busy. She is searching for an active outdoorsy home that can keep up with her lively personality. Sugar will require an adult only home that have plenty of time to ensure she has sufficient amount of physical and mental stimulation.

She has a timid but gentle nature and will need an understanding human companion that is willing to help grow her confidence with the world. It’s likely that Sugar hasn’t experienced much of an indoor life up until now so will need a patient and understanding home who have no children or other dogs. Her new home will need to be prepared to visit the centre on a few occasions so she can get to know them before the ‘big day’!

Please state in your perfect match form what experience you have had with nervous/timid dogs (if any).

When it comes to a long countryside walk Sugar makes the perfect companion! Her tail (in fact, whole bum!) doesn’t stop wiggling throughout the whole walk. She adores exploring and sniffing so the great outdoors is where she feels most comfortable, relaxed and happy! Sugar also loves toys and food which makes training easy and fun; she has shown an eagerness to learn so it would be important for her new family to be keen to teach her some new skills.

Sugar has shown a disinterest in interacting with other dogs; so will thrive in a home that respects this and builds her confidence around other dogs in a slow and steady manner. A rural to semi rural locations would be Sugar’s dream as then she could run in open fields to her hearts content!

If you could provide Sugar with the forever home she deserves then please fill out a perfect match form.
