Meet Sunny and Breeze – Two young brothers looking for a special kind of home
Sunny and Breeze are two 13-week-old brothers who were born in a barn and aside from the time they have spent with us in the cattery, they have experienced very little human interaction. As a result, they are shy, cautious, and still learning that people can be trusted. These boys are hoping for a calm, understanding home where they can continue to live life on their own terms.
While they are still very young, their early experiences have shaped them to be independent and wary of people. They enjoy each other’s company, are curious about their surroundings, and love to play when they feel safe. With time, patience, and the right environment, Sunny and Breeze have the potential to grow in confidence – but they’ll need adopters who are happy to let them take things at their own pace.
🟡 A calm, quiet environment:
These boys would do best in a peaceful home with a predictable routine. Too much noise or activity can make them feel unsafe, so a quiet setting is key to helping them feel secure.
🟡 Safe space with outdoor access (in time):
As they settle in, Sunny and Breeze will need an indoor space with cosy hiding spots, where they can feel safe and not pressured to interact. Eventually, once settled in, access to the outdoors would be essential for these boys to give them plenty of opportunities for exploring, adventures and hunting.
🟡 Minimal handling or pressure:
They are not lap cats or cuddly companions – at least, not yet. They’re looking for adopters who will respect their boundaries, and allow them to live life with minimal expectations around human contact, and if they should feel safe enough to trust and build relationships in time they can have opportunity to do so.
If you have a quiet home or suitable outdoor setup such as a stable, barn, or secure outbuilding, and the heart to give two timid brothers the chance to grow at their own pace, we’d love to hear from you. They don’t need constant attention – they just need a safe place to be themselves.
