Tidge is now on the search for his forever family.

This lovely chap has a wonderful temperament; he adores human affection and always greets you with a happy waggy tail along with his most prized toy in his mouth. Tidge may be older but he is young at heart, he’s playful, cheeky and still enjoys his walks. He could happily live in a family unit with children of all ages so long as they were dog savvy and calm.

Tidge has a real laidback approach to life, he’s happy so long as he has company and toys! He would be best suited to an owner that is around for most of the day as he thrives in human company. Tidge has shown to be polite and well-mannered around other dogs out on walks. He would be happy being the only dog in the home or he could live with another placid older dog so long as they committed to multiple meets at the centre first.

He entered the centre overweight so his new home will need to continue with his weight management plan to ensure he can reach his ideal weight again. Due to his weight and being slightly older he would benefit from a 20-30 minute walk along with play sessions and mind games to keep him busy and active. He also has a pre-existing injury to his left eye which has left him blind in this eye, however, this has proven to not effect him in any way!

He has bags of character so will bring an enormous amount of joy to a family home. If you feel you could offer Tidge the retirement home he deserves then please fill out a perfect match form.
