🌟 Meet Toby – Looking for His Happy Ever After 🌟

Toby is a beautiful little Dachshund with a gentle soul who has found himself in search of a new beginning. He came into our care after his beloved owner was sadly taken into a care home and could no longer provide the support and companionship Toby so deeply craves.

At just 3 years old, Toby should be in the prime of his life, but it’s clear he hasn’t had much opportunity to explore the world. Life has been quite small and safe for him until now, and being in a new environment has left him feeling overwhelmed and unsure. We’ve yet to see his full personality shine through, as he’s still very much out of sorts and struggling to settle in.

Toby is a nervous little chap with a sensitive disposition. He finds being left alone very distressing and needs a home where he won’t be left for long periods. What he really wants is a quiet, calm environment with understanding people who can offer the time, patience, and reassurance he needs to slowly find his paws.

He absolutely loves his home comforts – nothing makes Toby happier than curling up on the sofa beside his favourite person for a cosy cuddle. He’s not yet ready for the hustle and bustle of busy areas, so his new family will need to take things at his pace and gently help him build confidence in new situations.

🏡 Toby’s Ideal Home:

• Adult-only home – A calm environment with no young children.

• Someone home most of the day – Toby struggles with being left alone and needs consistent companionship.

• Experience with nervous dogs – or the patience and understanding to help a timid boy blossom.

• Willing to take things slowly – Toby hasn’t experienced much, so introductions to the wider world will need to be at his pace.
