Truffle is a stunning long-haired feline with a sweet nature.

Due to a lack of human interactions in her previous environment, she is a very shy and nervous girl and has taken some time to warm up to staff here at the centre, however, after being given time to adjust, she seems to have overcome some fears and is making remarkable progress. Truffle is slowly learning to trust humans and is becoming more comfortable and accepting of affection and fuss, even responding with a purr!

Truffle would thrive in a calm and quiet environment with patient and understanding adopters who are willing to take a hands-off approach initially, allowing her the space and time she needs to adjust to her new home at her own pace. While she’s never shown any aggression, she’s been scared and has often chosen to hide away, therefore, she will need a longer settling period.

Although Truffle is used to the outdoors, due to her nervous nature, she will require a few months of remaining indoors before slow introductions are made – it’s essential for her safety and well-being that she feels confident and secure in her new home before being these steps are taken.
