I HAVE NOW FOUND MY FOREVER HOME!

Introducing the handsome Tumby!

Tumby is a 2 year old black Oriental X DLH.

Tumby is very timid in nature, and has taken a while to settle into life in the cattery. Now that he has come out of his shell, he enjoys spending time with the people he knows, and playing with his toys. Although initially very nervous, he has made some lovely friendships with the team here at the centre, and seems to grow in confidence everyday. He has shown that he is infact a very affectionate boy once he gets to know you, and will purr away for hours in your company.

Tumby is FIV Positive, meaning he carries the FIV virus. This doesn’t require any current medical attention, but we advise all adopters to do some research into owning an FIV Positive cat before adopting. Due to his FIV status, he will need to be adopted as an indoor only cat in a home with no other animals. As Tumby is very young and previously loved to explore the great outdoors, he would benefit from someone who has a cat-proof secure garden, or is able to create an enclosed outdoor space in their garden for him to still be able to access the outdoors safely. As Tumby can be quiet and nervous, he is looking for an adult only home without too many comings and goings. Tumby’s new family will need to be understanding of his timid nature, and allow him to settle in at his own pace.
