Meet Ziggy – a gentle, thoughtful soul looking for a calm home

Ziggy is a 4-year-old boy with a sensitive nature and a very sweet heart. He can be timid when first settling into a new environment and may take a little time to feel safe, often preferring to observe quietly at first. Once he starts to relax, his gentle personality really comes through.

Ziggy does enjoy human company and has an affectionate side to him, that being said he’s an independent boy and is quite happy in his own company. He isn’t a lap cat and prefers to interact on his own terms, but he does enjoy fuss and attention when he’s feeling comfortable. He doesn’t like being picked up or cuddled, so he’s best suited to someone who understands and respects feline boundaries.

Ziggy struggles in stressful situations and will need a quiet, patient home where he can settle at his own pace. Plenty of hiding spaces and a predictable routine will really help him feel secure.

He has a playful side too and has enjoyed wand-style toys in the past, especially feather or bird toys and wiggly worms. Ziggy would be happiest in a calm household. Older children (12+) may be considered, depending on their understanding of giving him space while he adjusts.

With time, patience, and a peaceful environment, Ziggy will make a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a gentle, low-key cat who enjoys company without needing constant attention.
