Meet Billie and Bailey – Two beautiful sisters who are seeking a special alternative home.
Billie and Bailey are two very special sisters who are looking for a life different to that of a typical domestic pet. They’ve spent much of their lives in a quiet, safe space, and they’re now looking for a home that is accepting of their unique personalities and needs. These sweet girls are nervous, shy and unsure about human interaction. When left alone, these girls enjoy exploring and playtime and are keen to find a home where they can lead the independent lives they enjoy without the pressure of having to make human friends. They are not looking for a traditional domestic cat experience, but rather a peaceful, stress-free space where they can flourish at their own pace.
What Billie & Bailey are looking for:
A calm environment: These sisters are seeking a home with little foot traffic and a predictable routine. Too much excitement or noise can be overwhelming for them, so a quiet household is ideal.
A safe and private space: Billie and Bailey will need a safe space to call their own and plenty of opportunities to hide when they feel unsure. This space will be required long term and will need to be an area where they can access the outdoors (once settled) without human intervention.
Minimal human interaction: These girls are nervous around people and would appreciate a home where they can be left to do their own thing, without the pressure to make friends. They’ll benefit from an adopter who respects their boundaries, offering them food, water, and shelter, but without expecting too much in return at first.
A little about their journey: Billie and Bailey came from a quieter environment and have grown accustomed to the safety of their sisterhood. In their previous home, both these girls we’re described as nervous, but affectionate on their own terms – Due to the stress of entering our cattery, we are yet to see their affectionate side, however we are keen to find them a home where they can grow in confidence and get back to their old selves. These sisters have shown moments of curiosity and playfulness with one another, and in the right setting, we believe they can begin to trust and eventually open up to those they feel safe with.
Are you the right home for Billie & Bailey?
If you have a quiet home and the patience to allow these two sweet souls to come out of their shells, Billie and Bailey might just be the perfect fit for you. If you’re looking for a pair of cats who will be content with each other and their own space, Billie and Bailey could be the perfect match for you.
These sisters are looking for an understanding home where they can have their own undisturbed space away from humans. Dependant on set up, we would be happy to consider a quiet home, or a more outdoor setting, such as a stables, barn or outbuilding.
If you think you can offer these sweet girls a peaceful home, we’d love to hear from you. Please complete a perfect match form below…
PLEASE NOTE: Due to how nervous Billie and Bailey currently are around humans, the photo on this profile is not them, but rather two cat’s who look very similar.
