Meet Ivy, the adorable little fluff ball, with lots of energy and a big heart to match!
Ivy is estimated around 4-7 months old, and was brought into our care after being found and a poorly stray young kitten. In cattery, Ivy is a little tentative of new people, but curiosity soon kicks in and after a few minutes and a few chin tickles, you’ll have a friend for life! Once an initial introduction has be made, she is a loving and affectionate girl – with a very loud purr!
Ivy is looking for a calm home that can show her what a stable and loving environment looks like. Being a young girl, she is keen to play and burn off some energy, so a fun and interactive home is a must! Due to her stray history, Ivy can be a little worried by sudden movements or noises but is rapidly growing in confidence daily, and we know she will continue to grow into a confident, wonderful loving companion!
Due to her rough start in life, Ivy has been diagnosed with Juvenile Gingivitis which causes inflammation of the gums and means that she may require a dental treatment in future. In most cases this can resolve once her adult teeth come through, however in the event that Ivy needs further dental work, CDCH will be on hand to carry out this procedure (inclusive of her adoption fee).
Ivy is looking for a loving home which can provide her a calm space to settle, so older children (13+) who are understanding of her initial worries would be more suitable. Although Ivy would prefer not to live with a dog, a home with another calm and friendly cat may be considered.
