Meet Mackerel and Trout our beautiful bonded Ragdoll sisters who at just 1 and a half years old and looking for their forever home.
These stunning young ladies came into our care under difficult circumstances after being abandoned and left behind in a property. Despite the rough start, they’ve shown a gentle, affectionate bond that’s truly heart-warming and can often be found grooming each other, snuggled up together for naps, and sharing their meals side by side.
They are inseparable and bring each other a great deal of comfort, so they must be rehomed as a pair. Life in the cattery has been a bit overwhelming for them, but each day they’re growing in confidence, taking small steps to explore and interact with gentle encouragement from our team.
Given their sensitive nature, they would thrive in a calm, quiet home where they can be given time and space to settle at their own pace. A spare room or quiet area to start in would help them feel safe as they adjust to their new surroundings. They would be best suited to a home with either adults only or older, cat-savvy children who can respect their boundaries.
As with all long-haired breeds, they require regular grooming to prevent their beautiful coats from matting. While they enjoy grooming one another, their adopter will need to commit to gently maintaining their fur.
