Max is a gentle, affectionate, and friendly soul with the most wonderful temperament. He adores attention and will happily spend his days enjoying gentle strolls followed by plenty of downtime and cuddles at home.

At this stage in his life, Max is ready to embrace a well-earned retirement – one filled with calm, comfort, and love. He would thrive in a relaxed home that enjoys a slower pace of life. He’s currently in foster care, where his foster carer says he has been an absolute delight to have around. Max settled into home life straight away and has taken great joy in gentle strolls along the canal and lounging in the living room, soaking up all the love and comfort he can.

Max could live with children of any age, provided they share his gentle nature, and he may also be happy sharing his home with another older, calm dog – though he would be equally content being the centre of your world.
