By applying for and securing a charity place in the 2026 TCS London Marathon with the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, you agree to the following:
Registration and Sponsorship
- A £100 non-refundable registration fee is required when you accept your place. This includes your official CDCH running shirt.
- By taking part, you agree to raise a minimum of £2,000 in sponsorship for CDCH.
- All sponsorship raised is held in trust for CDCH and must be sent to us no later than two months after race day.
- Every pound raised will go directly towards the care, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals at our centre.
Payment of Sponsorship Sponsorship money can be paid in the following ways:
- Via your chosen online giving page (we recommend Enthuse)
- By phone using a credit or debit card (call our team on 01453 890014
- By cheque, made payable to The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home and sent to: Fundraising Team, The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, Beechmeadow Farm, Elmcote Lane, Cambridge, Gloucestershire, GL2 7AS.
- By bank transfer – please contact our fundraising team for details at fundraising@cdch.org.uk
- The London Marathon is a challenging event that requires preparation. We strongly encourage all participants to train appropriately and to seek medical advice from a GP before beginning any programme or taking part on the day.
- CDCH cannot accept responsibility for illness, injury, or personal loss sustained during training or the event itself.
- Participants must meet the minimum age requirement as set by the official London Marathon organisers.
Costs and Fundraising Purpose
- CDCH incurs costs when securing charity places (including your running shirt). The objective is to raise as much sponsorship as possible to ensure these costs are covered and that maximum funds go towards the animals in our care.
- The London Marathon is a third-party managed event. By registering to participate on behalf of CDCH, your personal data may be shared with the event organiser to facilitate your participation.
- CDCH will keep in touch with you about your training, fundraising, and event information. We won’t send you unrelated marketing unless you’ve chosen to hear from us.
- All participants understand it is their responsibility to read and comply with the official London Marathon Terms & Conditions, available here
