Here at CDCH, as you can imagine, we have lots of muddy paws! Our washing machines are constantly running to keep up with towels, bedding, medical vests and anything else that needs washing.
We pride ourselves on providing the best care and the best environment we possibly can for our animals until they find their forever homes. To keep them warm, clean and healthy, we need to ensure we have plenty of clean bedding for them.
If we have an animal in our isolation unit with an infectious disease our washing machines are working twice as hard as items can only be used once before needing to be cleaned to keep spread down.
The amount of laundry we do really does require a larger commercial washing machine.
This comes at a huge cost which we don’t have in the budget.
We need YOUR HELP to keep blankets and towels clean and fresh for our dogs.
