Special Visit from Alex Lovell, Brings Joy to Buffy and Tia at CDCH

Buffy and Tia, recently had a very special visit from Alex Lovell, a beloved television presenter and avid animal advocate.

Buffy and Tia, two gentle German Shepherds, were living confined in a small crate under a bush, neglected and abandoned. Thankfully, brought to us at The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, where they have begun their journey to recovery and hope.

Alex’s visit brought so much joy to both the staff and the animals at The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, especially to Buffy and Tia.

Thanks to the incredible support from compassionate donors like you, Buffy and Tia are making significant strides in their recovery journey.

Buffy is continuing her hydrotherapy sessions, which are crucial for her ongoing treatment. Each session costs £45, and your donations ensure that she receives this essential care.

These sessions have been instrumental in helping Buffy, and we are already seeing improvements in her strength and mobility.

Your generosity has also provided Buffy and Tia with medical care, nourishing food, and a loving environment to heal and thrive.

The transformation in both dogs is heartwarming, and it’s all because of the kindness and support from their amazing supporters.

Your contributions make a real difference, with the impact of turning Buffy and Tia’s story from neglect to a tale of resilience and hope.

Lauren and Buffy

Buffy has made so much progress since being at the centre. When she came in, she was lame on her back legs from being shut in a cage. With further investigation from our veterinary team, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia.

This has not stopped her goofy, loving and playful personality coming out. She loves going on walks, playing with a sqeaky ball and having play sessions with her doggy friends. She is such a resilient dog, and I can't wait to find her forever home!

Together, we are rewriting their future and ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve.

To continue supporting Buffy, Tia, and other animals in need, please consider donating. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us provide the essential care these animals require.

Thank you once again for standing with us and supporting our mission, read more about Buffy and Tia’s journey from Neglect to Hope.
