Emergency Foster Appeal for Max

Older dogs like Max have so much love to give, yet they are often overlooked in rescue.

Every year, countless older dogs end up in rescue through no fault of their own. Max is one such dog.

A sweet, older boy who has already stolen the hearts of everyone he meets.

Now, he urgently needs your help to enjoy the comfort and care he deserves in his golden years.

Max’s story is a poignant reminder of how quickly life can change. His devoted owner recently fell seriously ill. With heavy hearts, they made the difficult decision to entrust Max to our care, knowing it was the only way he would receive the care and treatment he now needs.

Every animal who comes to us touches our hearts, and Max is no exception – he stole them straight away.

Together, we can give this gentle boy the peace, comfort, and love he truly deserves in his later years.

Max’s Needs
While Max’s spirit is full of sweetness, his body is showing signs of age. Our vet team have confirmed that he urgently requires:
A large dental procedure, blood tests and on going pain relief to ease his stiffness and discomfort.
This lovely boy is also older than we first thought and estimated to be over 10 years old.
Making gentle care, comfort, and security more important than ever.

To support Max’s journey and help him feel more comfortable please donate today.

Max is an old soul with the gentlest heart! He finds pure joy in the simplest things and loves nothing more than stretching out in the sun, closing his eyes and being present in the moment.

He's won the hearts of everyone he's met so far, and I feel so lucky to know him and become a part of his journey!
