Celebrate Free Wills Month with the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home!

This October, the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home is excited to celebrate Free Wills Month and offer you an incredible opportunity to secure your future while making a difference for animals in need.

We’ve partnered with a fully trained, independent Will-writing service to provide you with a free will, making it easier than ever to plan for tomorrow.

Creating or updating your will is a crucial step in securing your loved ones’ future and making sure your wishes are honored. It’s also a chance to leave a legacy that can profoundly impact the lives of animals at our centre. While there’s no obligation to leave a gift to the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, any contribution you choose to make can transform the lives of countless animals.

How It Works...

We want to make this process as convenient as possible for you, so you can choose the method that best fits your needs.

You can take advantage of this opportunity by completing your Free Will over the telephone or in person with a trained counsellor at your home.

Either way, each legally binding Will is checked by legal experts and can be updated.

Make a Lasting Impact...

By including a gift in your will to the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, you’re ensuring that we can continue providing love, care, and a safe haven for animals in need for years to come.

Your legacy can help us change the lives of animals who come through our doors, offering them the chance to heal and find forever homes.

There is no obligation to remember us in your Will but, CDCH gratefully accepts any gift you wish to leave us. You can choose to leave CDCH a percentage of your estate or a specific amount.

Ruby - Labrador X, The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home

When Ruby, an 8-year-old Labrador cross, arrived at the centre, it was clear she had been through a lot.

Her eyes were clouded with pain, her joints ached, and she was overwhelmed with anxiety after losing her home. Ruby was in desperate need of help.

Thanks to the kindness of legacy donations, Ruby received the medical care she needed—pain relief, treatments for her skin, and hydrotherapy. Day by day, Ruby’s spirit brightened.

After eight weeks of love and care, she transformed into a joyful, healthy dog.

The best part of her journey came when she found her forever home, where she now enjoys the love and comfort she longed for.

Thank you for your continued support and for considering leaving a legacy that can make a world of difference.

Secure your Free Will Today and help us shape a brighter future for the animals we care about.

At the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, we share your passion for animals. We have been providing care and support to vulnerable animals in our community for over 85 years.

We work tirelessly to support over 1,000 animals each and every year living in our community.  We find wonderful families for pets who need a new home.

CDCH also provides access to veterinary treatment for pets living with financially vulnerable families through our subsidised veterinary clinics, ensuring no animal suffers because of cost.

Although the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home is proud to be part of the independent RSPCA branch network, we would like to emphasise that we are an independently funded branch that depends on the generosity of the community, so each and every gift no matter how large or small has a huge impact and is deeply valued.
