Will you help bring some joy and happiness to a rescue animal this Christmas, by donating a shoebox of toys and treats for a dog or cat?
There will be lots of animals spending this Christmas day at The Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home, without a family and a home to call their own. But every Christmas eve, brightly wrapped shoeboxes are left outside the kennel or pod of each and every animal, ready for them to open, with staff, on the big day.
If you are able to, please give an animal a lovely gift this year. A wish-list of much-wanted items is on the cover image and the event poster. – Just be sure to label your box to let us know whether the gifts inside are for a dog or cat!
It is a lovely project to do with your family, and will hopefully bring you as much joy as I know it will bring our animals.
We will be holding an open day at the centre on Saturday 11th December between 2 and 5pm. This would be the perfect time to visit us and pop your gift under our tree. To find out more, click HERE.
Alternatively, shoeboxes can be dropped off at the centre, on any day in the run-up to Christmas, between 10am and 4pm. Or, they can be handed in at any of our charity shops.
We also have some kind local businesses who have offered to collect the gifts for us:
