Dear Kind Friend, I need help…

Dear Kind friend,

I need Help….

A little while ago, my whole world got turned upside down, when my humans had no choice but to find me a new home and I became a “rescue dog.” I’d heard the words before, but I didn’t really know what they meant. It wasn’t my humans’ fault, I hear life is very tough right now, and they had to make a heart breaking decision that changed all of our lives forever.

When I first arrived at the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, I was so worried. There were unfamiliar smells everywhere and not a single face I recognised. Then I met my carer, Tash. She knelt down, gently stroked my head, and whispered that everything would be alright, and you know what?

She was right.

Everyone here has a kind word and even a treat tucked in their pockets. They gave me love, safety, and hope that one day I’ll find a forever family.

But there’s just one problem – my leg. It’s sore, and walking is uncomfortable. The kind vet at CDCH explained I have something called a Luxating Patella and the only way to make me feel better is an operation.

The team at CDCH works so hard for animals like me, but my surgery and x-rays are expensive. They’ve promised that no matter what happens, they will take care of me, but today, I’m asking if you could help them… help me.

I needed help to find safety.

I needed help to find love.

Now, I need your help to walk without pain.

Please, if you can, donate to the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home. Your kindness will make every step I take more comfortable and bring me closer to a happy, healthy future.

With love and hope, Millie

Vet bills like all our other costs are rising, anything raised above Millie’s needs will be used to help animals just like her at the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home.
