Help Max regain his strength

Meet Max, a bouncy one-year-old German Shepherd. Max was found in what Stroud Police described as, ‘squalid conditions’, and brought to CDCH by an RSPCA Inspector.

Despite his difficult start, Max is full of life. He is always eager to play and greets everyone with a waggy tail and a slobbery kiss. Sadly, Max was underweight and showed weakness in his back legs. Tests and X-rays, showed that Max had reduced muscle mass and strength.

Thankfully, there is a treatment that can give Max the best chance to have a normal life – hydrotherapy.

Although hydrotherapy comes with a cost, we believe it is worth paying and we know you will agree.

Can you help cover the cost of Max’s hydrotherapy as well as neutering, vet visits and vaccinations? The total is estimated to be close to £1000.

Monthly donations, however small, help us plan the care we can offer Max.

As a thank you, Max will send you regular updates.

Or, if you prefer, you can make a one-off donation.

Any donation, big or small, will really help.

Thank you for your support.

If we raise enough money to support Max, any additional donations will help other animals at our centre in Gloucestershire.
