Meet Hope, A Tiny Kitten Fighting for a Second Chance

When I first saw her, she was so tiny and fragile, trying so hard to please even though her little leg was clearly hurting.

There was this spark in her eyes, she wasn’t giving up. In that moment, I knew we had to call her Hope. Because that’s exactly what she is. A tiny bundle of hope fighting for her chance to live the life she deserves.

Please, if you can, donate today and give her the gift of healing and Hope.

Together, we can help this tiny fighter take her first steps toward a brighter tomorrow.

When tiny Hope arrived in our care at just 10 weeks old, she was in desperate need of help.

Struggling to walk and unable to bear any weight on her front leg, it was clear she was in pain and needed urgent care.

Thanks to the quick action of our team, she was given a safe, warm place to rest and received emergency veterinary treatment, first  here at CDCH’s animal rescue centre, under the expert care of our Veterinary Surgeon, Morwenna Fry BVetMed MRCVS, and then rushed straight for x-rays at Vale Vets.

This urgent care has already come at a significant cost to the centre, but this brave little kitten’s journey isn’t over yet.

She now needs urgent surgery costing £1800 to pin her leg and give her the best possible chance at a happy, pain-free life. Without this operation, her future is uncertain.

As Bonfire Night and scary season fast approach, the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home are urging the public to choose kindness over fireworks, by donating the cost of going to a firework display to help care for dogs during this stressful time of year.
