Meet Lollie and her Puppies

During the biggest heatwave the UK has ever seen, the gorgeous Lollie, the Lurcher, and her 8 puppies arrived at the centre.

They have been named Rocket, Whippy, Calippo, Zap, Vimto, Chupa, Ben and Jerry – had to keep the summer theme!

Lollie is a Devoted Mother

Lollie and her pups were rescued from conditions no mother and her pups should be living in. They were found in a shed with no access to the basic requirements.

Lollie was in such poor condition. She was extremely emaciated, dehydrated and covered in superficial wounds – some old and some new.

Despite this, she did everything she could for her puppies and they are all doing really well.

She can now rest easy knowing that we will provide her with everything she needs to help her pups grow healthy and strong.

Lollie is now on a strict feeding programme to help her gain weight and muscle. She enjoys her little play dates with the team away from her pups – every Mum needs a little downtime.

This Furry Family Needs Your Help

Lollie and her puppies are all doing really well but need your help to continue to flourish.

They will all need neutering (when old enough, the pups will return to us and we will neuter them), vaccinating, microchipping and anything else they might need.

This comes at a huge cost to the centre.

We need your help with the medical costs and food costs of this lovely furry family.

We estimate that their total cost will be upwards of £3,000.

Please give what you can. Even the cost of a coffee – no amount is too small.

You can sponsor Lollie and her pups for as little as £10 a month. You will receive regular updates on how they are getting on.

“The poor creatures soulful eyes are haunting. They are such a gentle breed so to see her harrowing suffering is dreadful.

I’m so glad she’s safe now- Thank you for all you do.”

Anette, CDCH Supporter and Donor

Thank you for helping us give Lollie and her pups a better life. Lollie may have suffered neglect, but we can show her that there are people who have compassion for animals.

If we raise enough money to support Lollie and her pups, any additional donations will help other animals at our centre in Gloucestershire.
