The Pet Promise

Pet Promise, gives you peace of mind that your pet will be loved and cared for by the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, when the time comes.

Here at the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, we are very proud of our intake policy.

We take in any dog or cat regardless of age, breed, or temperament, so you can rest easy knowing that your pet would be very welcome here.

We place no time limit on how long an animal can stay with us, and while we’re finding your pet the best loving home, they’ll be given plenty of love, care, and attention from our dedicated team.

Once in our care, we will do all we can to make sure that your pet is happy and healthy, including a health check from our vet before starting the search for their perfect home.

All potential new adopters will be thoroughly assessed and will be required to come to the centre for a supervised introductory visit to be absolutely sure that they are the perfect match for your pet.

If all goes well, your pet would soon be settling into their loving new home.

Making arrangements for your pet to come to us is so easy to do...

Simply when completing or updating your Will leave clear instructons stating who your temporary pet guardian will be and that you want the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home to find your pet a loving new home.

If you are making plans for your dog or cat in the future, we understand that you’re likely to have questions about our Pet Promise service.

Our Pet Promise is free of charge, however many of those who sign up to the service choose to leave a gift in their Will to the Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home, charity number 207006 as a thank you for promising to take care of their beloved companion.

Whilst this is not a necessity, a gift to the Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home, whatever amount, will help ensure that we can continue to be here for every dog or cat for many years to come.

Find out more about leaving a gift in your Will and request a Legacy Brochure.
