Sponsors needed for Duke, the 17 year old Akita

Some of you might remember our golden oldie, Duke, the 17 year old Akita.
Duke was abandoned when he was most vulnerable. He was severely underweight and very unsteady on his legs. This gorgeous lad was so lucky to find an amazing foster home to help him back to full strength and support him during his retirement. He will now live out his days in comfort and full of love.

We caught up with Dukes wonderful foster family and here is what they had to say:
 
‘Duke is doing great! Over this last month he’s learnt to count and tell the time! At 2pm he barks to tell us he wants to go outside and wander around the garden and sunbath, but not so keen on this when it’s wet and windy out!’
‘After his walk he can’t wait for the lounge door to open to go running in to sit on his bed by the radiator! At bedtime he knows if you’ve not given him his 3 biscuits and goes looking for them in his bed! He also must have settled into our home now as we notice him dreaming in his sleep. He wags his tail and runs as fast as he can in his dreams and it’s so lovely to see him relaxing.’

It’s only with your help that we can provide Duke with the care he needs.
