Two scrumptious Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies who have already touched our hearts deeply were abandoned near a canal in Birmingham at just a few weeks old.
These precious pups faced a heart-breaking start to life but fortunately, they were found by a member of the public and brought to a nearby RSPCA Clinic in Birmingham, from there, they made their way to us at CDCH, where we are committed to providing them with the loving future they deserve.
It's devastating to think that these innocent puppies were left alone, unwanted, and uncared for at such a tender age.
We are incredibly grateful to the individual who found them and ensured they reached a safe place before coming into our care. Turner and Hooch have so much love to give and are destined to be the perfect companion for any lucky family
Despite their rough beginnings, Turner and Hooch are showing remarkable resilience and bravery.
Over the past few days, they have been bonding with the team, revelling in playtime, and bringing smiles to everyone they meet. Their playful spirits and boundless affection remind us of why we do what we do.
Seeing these puppies thrive brings us a mix of emotions: deep sorrow for their difficult start and immense happiness knowing we can now give them the love and care they deserve.
Our team is dedicated to working tirelessly to ensure Turner and Hooch receive everything they need.
Caring for puppies is both demanding and costly, particularly for a small charity like ours, during these challenging financial times.
Turner and Hooch have been vaccinated, microchipped and received flea and worm treatments. Both puppies will need to return for neutering in the future.
All of these necessary treatments come at a significant cost, and we are asking for your support.
Your generous donations can help us provide the care Turner and Hooch need and continue to support our ongoing efforts to rescue and rehome abandoned animals just like them, now and in the future.

Vet bills like all our other costs are rising and Turner & Hooch are just some of the many animals who need our help every day.
Anything raised above Turner & Hooch’s needs will be used to help animals just like her at the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home.
