In these unprecedented times, more and more pet owners are turning to us for support as they can’t afford basic vet care for their pets.
Petplan Charitable Trust has provided a grant to support our welfare clinic provision which will help us to care for hundreds of vulnerable animals every year.
We offer a low-cost veterinary clinic for individuals in receipt of a means tested benefit within our Gloucestershire and South Cotswolds community. We offer weekly 15 minute appointments at our centre clinic in Cam, Dursley to help with minor conditions. As well as our clinics, we also offer support through neutering and help voucher schemes, further details on these have been provided below.

Our Help Vouchers are designed to support your pet when they are most in need or if you are facing an unexpected vet cost. They are intended for emergency or for unforeseen but necessary veterinary treatment. We are able to cover 25% of the quoted vet costs if the amount exceeds £150. The maximum value of the voucher is £100. The quote must be communicated to CDCH prior to any treatment being carried out.
CDCH offers a contribution towards the neutering of your animal.
Appointments are 15 minutes long and must be made in advance by calling the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home on – 01453 890014.
Please note that we are not a veterinary practice and your pet may be referred to a vets to receive treatment. In this instance we may be able to assist by providing a ‘help voucher’.
