With the festive season fast approaching, the shops can be an overwhelming place when trying to decide on the perfect gift. Well when it comes to finding that special something for your four-legged friends, we’ve got you covered!

We’ve taken the hassle out of scouring the internet high and low and have collated a list of fantastic gifts that your pet will love to find under the tree this Christmas morning. All just one click away!

Dental Sticks Advent Calendar
Pooch & Mutt – £19.99

Why should the humans have all the fun in counting down to the big day? Chocolate, as we know is a big No-No for Dogs but they would love this Vet-approved Luxury Dental Stick Advent Calendar by Pooch & Mutt! With four different flavours of sticks to find, including a limited-edition cheese fondue, keeping teeth and gums protected has never tasted so good!

Winter Warm Dog Snuggle Bed
Charley Chau – £245 (Large)

We’ve fallen head over heels with this Snuggle Bed and would quite like one for human nap times! Available in three sizes and four beautiful colourways, this is a sleeping-bag style bed, designed for dogs that love to burrow and sleep under blankets.

Lined with faux-fur fleece and a deep-filled luxury mattress, it’s super soft, cosy and most importantly, completely machine-washable!

Chuckit! Glow in the dark balls 2-Pack
Pet Drugs Online – £11.89

Winter can be hard on Dogs when it comes to finding enrichment and playtime opportunities and no one wants to be searching in the dark for another lost tennis ball. We’ve found the perfect gift to make fetch fun, any time, any place! These glow in the dark balls from Chuckit! Charge quickly under any bright light and will generate 20 to 30 minutes glowing playtime (no batteries or cords needed!)

Dog & Bay Quick Drying Pet Towel
Dock & Bay – £25

If your pooch is a big fan of wet walkies, then this quick drying and super absorbent towel is going to be your dog’s new best friend – on hand at any moment for a quick dry off! It’s made from 100% recycled materials and we just love the handy hand pockets, designed to keep your own paws clean and dry. With 11 beautiful designs to choose from and a drawstring bag in matching fabric to keep it in, we think these would be the perfect item to pack for all future adventures!

Gingerbread Person Eco Dog Toy
RSPCA – £10

Festive? Check. Eco-friendly? Check. Supporting animal welfare with your purchase? Check!
This Gene Jeanie the Gingerbread Person Eco Dog Toy from the RSPCA online shop ticks all the boxes. It’s made from natural 100% recyclable jute and covered in soft suede. Its chew-safe and will provide hours of fun for you and your dog this festive season.

Adaptil Calm Plug-in Diffuser & Refill
Pet Drugs Online – £20.50

The lack of routine and influx of visitors to the house can be very stressful for dog’s at Christmas. An anti-stress pheromone diffuser is a great gift idea that they can enjoy ahead of the big day and reap the benefits over the entire festive period. Happy Dog, Happy Owner.

Puppy Lickin’ Layers Interactive Game & Feeder
Pets at Home – £19

If your dog hasn’t tried a puzzle feeder before, this gift is going to open up a whole new world of fun and enrichment for them. Your pup has to navigate the three layers by spinning each one to reveal over 80 treat compartments. It will keep your dogs busy and engaged while you tuck into your own Christmas feast!
Dog puzzle games help dogs use their natural instincts and behaviours to help their brains develop through mental stimulation.

Doggy Vits Daily Wellness Box
Doggy Vits – £32.95
We all want to feel we are doing the best for our pet when it comes to their health. When considering our upcoming new years resolutions for taking better care of ourselves, why not extend that to our pets too, starting with a daily wellness box from Doggy Vits – 30 daily supplement sachets to kick start the new year.

Doggy Vits is a specially formulated powder supplement, developed by a vet and nutritionist to provide your dog with key vitamins, minerals, organic superfoods, collagen and probiotic support. It’s suitable for any breed, any size and any age and is 100% natural and free from any nasties. Simply tear open the sachet, mix it into your dog’s food daily and serve.

Dog DNA Sampling Kit
DNA Protected – £74.99

A simple mouth swab taken from your dog will contain thousands of cells, each containing your dog’s DNA.
By analysing the DNA collected on the swab sample, DNA Protected will produce a DNA profile that goes on the Forensic Dog DNA Database, to be used to confirm your dog’s identity in the event of loss or theft.
Unlike a microchip which might be lost, might not work or could even be removed, DNA will identify your dog for life. We definitely think this is up there with one of the most unique gifts to your dog and also yourself – protection and complete peace of mind.

Lily’s Kitchen Advent Calendar
Pet Drugs Online – £14.99

Advent Calendars are a really fun way to get your pet involved with the exciting build up to the big day, without so much as a sniff of a toxic chocolate to be tempted by.

We love this one from Lily’s Kitchen because of the natural, grain-free recipe treats behind each door.

Turntable Cat Scratching Pad
Dunelm – £19

We have officially found the best Secret Santa gift that ever existed, and it just so happens to be for your cat! You of course, won’t do very well out of this particular gift exchange situation and are more likely to receive a dead mouse or a wriggly worm then that bottle of perfume you were hoping for, but you are guaranteed to have some fun seeing your cat looking like a Superstar DJ come Christmas morning!

Scruffs Boucle Cat Bed
Pets at Home – £50

Cats sleep on average between 12 and 18 hours a day, so why not upgrade their favourite place as the temperature drops and give the gift of comfort.

We adore this Scruffs Boucle Cat Bed from Pets at Home. Not only does it come in four different colours, it’s also machine-washable. With high walls and a plush sleep area, your kitty will be sleeping sweetly through to the New Year!

Feliway Classic Plug-in Diffuser & Refill
Pet Drugs Online – £19.74

The lack of routine, giant sparkly tree in the living room and the influx of visitors to the house, can make Christmas a potentially stressful time for some dog’s, especially those that are experiencing it for the first time. An anti-stress pheromone diffuser is a great gift that they can enjoy ahead of the big day and continue to reap the benefits over the festive period and beyond. Happy Dog = Happy Christmas!

Felix Multi-level Cat Nap Tower
Pets at Home – £120

This multi-level cat tower offers the perfect mix of play, scratching and snoozing. Whilst it offers two cosy spots to grab a cat nap, we really love the fact that it provides several levels and different places to scratch and play, giving them total control in their playtime and freedom to express their natural behaviours. We particularly like the  natural colour fabrics and beautiful water hyacinth woven basket, perfectly neutral to suit any style of home.

Nina Ottosson by Catstages Rainy Day Puzzle & Play
Amazon – £24

Tap into your cats natural hunting instinct with this challenging puzzle feeder. In order to retrieve the cat treats from the 14 hidden compartments, they will have to bat the pegs and swat the raindrops, keeping them occupied for ages and giving you peace of mind that you are providing that all important enrichment for your beloved pet. We love it!

Catit Groovy Motion-Activated Dancing Fish
Pets at Home£18

This cute and cuddly fish toy will entertain your cat for hours with its realistic flapping motion and three different movement modes to stimulate your cat’s natural hunting instincts. It was voted ‘Best Cat Toy’ in the 2024 ‘Your Cat’ Product Awards and we can see why! It comes in two colours, is USB rechargeable and even has a refillable catnip pocket. When our attention has turned to our visitors on the big day, we’re not sure the cat will even notice once this gift has been unwrapped!

All for Paws Christmas Tree Kicker Toy
Pet
Drugs Online – £5.48

It’s nearly time for the yearly tradition of watching the cat try to battle with a 6ft Christmas tree. As much as we love to reorganise the baubles on a daily basis, we may have found the perfect decoy that they can wrestle with to their heart’s content. This Christmas Tree Kicker Toy provides hours of festive play with its dangling pom-poms, fur tail to chase and catnip thrown in for good measure. Your cat is sure to adore their own personal Christmas tree!

If you would like to extend your generosity even further, beyond your own special pet, then please consider taking part in our Shoe Box Appeal this Christmas.

Each year we have roughly 50 animals in our care on Christmas day. By filling a shoebox with treats, toys, and essentials, you’ll help us ensure our furry residents experience the love and care they deserve. The team will be there with them to open presents on the big day and this fills their hearts just as much as it does the animals.

Our Christmas Shoebox appeal is a heart-warming way to make a difference in the lives of the dogs, cats, and small animals waiting for their forever homes.

We love to receive physical boxes but also offer an option to donate a virtual shoe box.
