Meet Piper
When Piper arrived, she was coughing, sneezing, and severely underweight, with discharge from her eyes, nose, and mouth. She could barely stand. With a body score of just 2 out of 9 Piper’s story was complex, and she became the centre of a long legal battle for justice.
While her case unfolded, we gave her everything she needed: love, care and understanding. For 437 days, we helped her heal, physically and emotionally. Today, she is now settled in her forever home.

Last year, more dogs, cats, and small animals arrived in urgent need, many with medical issues, injuries, or behavioural challenges and this year with the rising living costs, mean more owners are struggling, and more animals need us.
Every meal, vet visit, and comfy bed comes at a cost.
