Yoko Needs You: A Home, A Heart, A Lifelong Promise

This is Yoko, our brave 5-year-old Jagd Terrier, who has been waiting far too long.

Yoko has been waiting for over three years for his forever home, despite his incredible spirit and countless meet-and-greets, Yoko is still searching for a family to call his own.

He desperately needs an experienced, adult-only, pet-free home (two people max) with someone willing to invest the time and love needed to build a deep bond for life.

Here’s why Yoko is worth every bit of your dedication:

Adventurous Soul: Yoko loves the outdoors and has shared unforgettable adventures across the UK with our staff. From camping trips to mountain hikes, his brave and spirited nature shines through.

Loving Homebody: Once settled, Yoko is a dream at home. He enjoys cosy naps, playing with squeaky toys, and engaging in clever enrichment games. He’s house-trained and can be left alone for short periods.

Gentle Companion: Yoko thrives in a calm environment and can adapt to most settings as long as his boundaries are respected. He walks nicely with other dogs and is generally a social butterfly.

Loyal Friend: Yoko is low-maintenance and healthy, with no special grooming needs. He forms unbreakable bonds with those who invest time in him, becoming a friend for life.

What we ask from his potential adopters:

Experienced Care: Yoko needs someone familiar with high-drive breeds like the Jagd Terrier, or someone eager to learn. He must stay on a lead outside, and the garden must be secure.

Time to Bond: Potential adopters must be available to visit Yoko multiple times a week initially to build trust and connection.

Understanding and Patience: Adopters must be patient with Yoko’s quirks, like his high prey drive and resource guarding, and work with CDCH for ongoing guidance.

If you have room in your heart and home for a courageous and loving companion like Yoko, please don’t wait. Complete a perfect match form today.

Yoko has been waiting too long—let’s give him the forever home he so deeply deserves.
