Who is Pet Drugs online?

As a company founded by vets and run by pet owners and lovers alike Pet Drugs Online was launched in 2005 to allow clients to dramatically cut their pet health care costs.

The company has now grown  to become one of the UK’s largest, most-trusted, vet-run suppliers of veterinary medication and animal products licensed in the UK. Not only are we one of the UK’s largest retailers of pet medication; we’re also part of IVC Evidensia, the UK’s and Europe’s largest veterinary group with over 1,500 practices spanning eleven countries.

Everyone in the team is a pet owner and pet lover. Their aim is simple – to provide the best for your pets, as we do for our own.

Why is this partnership important?

Partnerships like this are immensely important to CDCH and can help us create more success stories like Spud.

Spud came into our care at 4 months old with a suspected broken leg, after arriving at the centre he was rushed to veterinary care and it was confirmed that he had a lateral condylar fracture of the left humerus. After in depth conversations with veterinary professionals the severity of the of his injury led to the decision to amputate his leg.

After his operation Spud spent some time in foster with a CDCH member of staff where he received 24 hour care and all the pain relief he required, leading to a wonderful recovery. He started physio and hydrotherapy and soon bounced back from his operation incredibly well, adapting to his new life style as a tripod. This little boy faced a lot of struggles at his young age but took them all in his stride.

He has now settled into his new home with a family who adore him. He doesn’t let his amputation slow him down and is otherwise like any other happy and healthy dog. Spud enjoys walks in the woods and adventures in the park.

With support from other businesses like Pet Drugs Online, we can support so many more animals to have the happy ending they deserve.

Spud is our spirited Frenchie who doesn't let his amputation slow him down. He has been a wonderful addition to our family, and we love him dearly!

Together, we can make a real difference in the health and well-being of pets, ensuring healthy and happy lives.
